Q.  Does any manufacturer offer a loft with real stand up room for an average adult?  Juliet F. (via email)

A.  Barry at North Park Manufacturing, Inc. has some answers for you Julie.  He tells us that the height restriction is mostly due to issues of transportation.  The Park Models are typically put on a flatbed trailer to deliver.  Highway bridges and power lines limit the height.  Several manufacturers, including North Park, build a Park Model with a dropped bedroom floor which gives more height to the loft.  Also, Barry tells us they have built some taller custom models when they know a delivery route that allows more height.

Q.  I have lots of difficulty finding information from parks that have Park Models.  Some of my questions are: Can I live there year round?  Are there age restrictions?  Do you have cable / high speed internet connections?  Do you allow storage sheds?  Stan H. (via email)

A.  Crystal Lake Village has some information for Stan.  They are located in Wauchula FL (863-773-3852) and have 355 RV spaces with more than half for Park Models.  While they are age-restricted, they allow younger folks in their 35 rental units.  They allow full time residents.

Q.  How do you choose manufacturers, dealers and parks for your monthly review?

A.  Our selection is based on several criteria.  One is personal recommendations from your customers.  Another is geography, as I try to select from different parts of the country.  The third is to have information available to us.

We do not require that you advertise in order to be reviewed.  Of course, we love to have your advertising and our Advertising Director, Ryan will be happy to talk with you about ad placement.

In order to do the best review possible, I need:

  1. A contact person to interview.
  2. Company history.  Who are you and why are you involved with Park Models?
  3. Copies of local press releases and interviews.
  4. High resolution photographs (minimum of 1080 x 1536 pixels)
  5. Contact information from your customers who are willing to talk with us about your product and service.
  6. Your latest and greatest news.

In addition, we frequently get questions from readers.  It would be helpful for me to have you joint our team of experts.  When you help answer questions I can mention you as a responsive company.  To join the team, send me your best contact information.
